Reply:The best book I've ever read is "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving.

It's also the only novel I've read four times - and I know I'm going to read it again and again.

Reply:surprisingly, i couldn't let go harry potter novels from my hands. it's not the author's style, it aint that great. it's just the fact that i started it when i was younger and somehow i stick to them. but it ain't something of great litterture(sorry hp fans, don't judge me, it's just my opinion).

i liked the alchimist and the fifth mountain by paolo cohelo. these are books that make you really think what are we living for and what is fate.

sherlock holmes adventures by a.conan doyle-%26gt; intersting, unpredictable and sometimes very funny

catcher in the rye by salinger -%26gt; i just liked it. it's a little bit sad at the end(it aint tragic, but i just felt sad), but i don't think another end will suit it.

bernard webber's books-%26gt; just the fabulous ideas and the message make always a great story.

some of agatha's christie's book and angels and demons by dan brown(still not gr8 litterture, but the symbols, the illuminati thing makes it an enjoyable reading) .
Reply:I have favourite books classified on domains. I especially loved Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card and I didn't sleep for a whole night captured by his incredible story.

I also love the vampire series by Anne Rice and I have to finish a new book in 3-4 days the most because I cannot think of anything else but the book and about what is coming next.

The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams-Not because of the story , but because of the storytelling.

HowTo Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee-Read it when i was 15. What can I say? It's FANTASTIC

1984 by George Orwell-Read this book and then look around. Tell me that what you read isn't in front of your eyes

CATCH-22 by Joseph Heller-I found it slow to start up, but it was well worth persevering with it.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown -it is a page turner and it is good fun.

It's not just about the fictional character that I'm after, it's about its historical background, etc.



Let me start with Peter Raven Under Fire.



The story exploits the controversial %26amp; extraordinary subterfuge by Napoleon Bonaparte and his attempt to build a vast empire by taking control the newly-created United States of America. It's a race against time to the pirate-filled waters of Caribbean to save an entire nation - and their spirited American girl who captured the heart of the conqueror, bringing him to his defeat. And, to mention, that it is not only historical, the author added very deep words that I cannot simplu comprehend. Historical and vocabulary-widening!



The Knight of Stars %26amp; Storms discussed the story of a fictional family and their crossroad of destiny with some ofthe most looked at in history: the plot of Queen Elizabeth I; Sir Francis Drake, the famous conqueror by the Queen; William Shakespeare and his theater; and the famous golden Hinde of Francis Drake.



It's quite thrilling, really. You should try it sometimes
